Blazer Mid '77 Vintage
In the 70's Nike was the new shoe on the block. So new in fact, we were still breaking into the basketball scene and testing prototypes on the feet of our local team. The design improved over the years, but the name stuck. The Nike Blazer Mid '77 Vintage--classic since the beginning.
In 1988, we combined the best parts of 2 different sneakers to create the 574. We didn't put much into advertising, but that didn't stop people from finding and wearing it. And before long, the 574 evolved from a running shoe into the first true go-anywhere sneaker.
